This complete bathroom remodel project in Durham updated an outdated bathroom into a modern oasis with a navy vanity and coordinating blue tiles in the shower. We started by demoing the existing bathroom and disposal of all debris. While we are working in a home we aim to maintain a clean work area at all times. We know it is easy for dust and dirt to migrate from one area to the other so we prepped and protected all the floors in the house.
Housing Solutions, Inc. did a complete renovation on this bathroom, from electrical and plumbing to baseboards and painting. We installed an exhaust fan and ran a vent to outside, changed out switch covers to matching white, put in new can lights, vanity lights, and an outlet next to the bidet. The new vanity features quartz countertops and an undermount sink.
In the shower, we brought in stunning blue tile in a brick pattern, a Schluter shower system, corner shelves, and a custom bench. New tile went down on the floor as well. For finishing touches, we installed three robe hooks, a toilet paper holder, two towel rings and a mirror.
During the project we identified some mold around the toilet flange and conducted a mold remediation service. The homeowners also had us install insulation, replace the baseboard in the master bathroom, and put in a new kitchen faucet and drain connection.
