In a recent outdoor living remodel in Durham, NC, we created an outdoor oasis while adhering to strict guidelines set by the homeowners’ association. This client values their privacy and was disappointed to learn their homeowners’ association required all fencing remain open. We created a custom 6′ shadow box fence with the shadow box facing the inside to adhere to the guidelines set by the HOA while affording the homeowner their cherished privacy. The addition of the paver patio completes this private oasis.
Every married couple has their own secrets to success. One thing that makes these homeowners’ marriage successful is not sharing the master bathroom. The wife uses the master and the husband enjoys the solitude of the hall bathroom. Everyone has their space and everyone is happy…except when one of the rooms is in need desperate need of a makeover! Housing Solutions enjoyed restoring harmony to their home by upgrading their bathroom in Durham.
These particular homeowners wanted the privacy of a fence but their homeowners’ association insisted on open fencing. The custom shadowbox fencing creates privacy while allowing the homeowners to adhere to the guidelines in their community. The decorative accent across the top adds a little more height and a unique flair to this now enclosed patio area.

We also installed large subway tiles throughout the shower tub combo and behind the vanity and toilet.
We brought in a designer to take our latest master bathroom remodel in Durham, NC to the next level. In this complete renovation, we brought in new sheetrock, electrical, and plumbing. There is no greater compliment than getting a call from a neighbor, friend, or family member of our past clients. We were delighted to hear from the neighbor of a recent client who wanted to upgrade their outdoor living space to a new deck and screened porch in Hillsborough, NC. Their worn-out deck was original to the home and needed work.
