Housing Solutions is proud to present this whole house renovation project we completed in Durham. The house is just stunning with many custom features, like the gorgeous metal stair railing, beautiful Kraftmaid cabinets throughout the new kitchen and bathrooms, the transformed exterior in the front and back, and interior finishes galore. Exterior

- Painted exterior of the home
- Raised garage door to make taller opening
- New garage door
- New front door is a DSA stained mahogany door with a 6ft door pull
- Reframed chimney to replace rotten framing, install new sheathing
Interior

- Demolished kitchen, took down a wall between the dining room and living room, patio doors, kitchen, laundry room, three bathrooms, stairs, and decks
- Removed popcorn ceiling
- Replaced all existing colonial trim with 1×4 casing and 1×6 baseboard for a more modern look
- New Kraftmaid cabinets throughout the house, matching cabinet hood vent in the kitchen. Kitchen and laundry have painted maple and stained maple cabinets
- Quartz countertops with 3 inch mitered edge and matching quartz backsplash
- Ice maker, wine fridge, and built in mini convection oven/microwave
- Replaced the windows in the house with black aluminum clad windows
- Installed reverse osmosis system
- Installed fireplace with midnight black tile surround and gas insert
- Replaced all the doors in the house with solid core doors
- Replaced all flooring outside of bathrooms and laundry room with DuChateau Engineered hardwoods
- Install new tile in laundry room

- Converted upstairs bathroom window to a transom window
- All new plumbing and electrical fixtures
- Upgraded Kraftmaid cabinets and Quartz countertops
- Master bath has stained cherry cabinets and hall bath has stained maple
- Floating vanity cabinets in master bathroom
- Heated tile floor in the master bath
- Zero entry shower in the master bath
- Installed wallpaper in hall bathroom
- New tile in showers and flooring
- Toto toilets with bidets in the bathrooms
Stairs

- Built interior metal stair railings
- Removed small knee wall at the top of the staircase
- Installed new red oak stair treads and landing
Deck and Porches

- Screeneze sliding barn door on screened in porch. Apparently, one of the first ones installed in the nation!
- Installed privacy fence
- Built 16×14 screen porch, 16×11 open deck and 12×10 open deck with rails
- Cable rails on porch and bead board ceiling
- Replaced 3 patio doors with aluminum-clad exterior patio doors
