Fresh New Look for Chapel Hill Hall Bath and Laundry Room

We are pleased to present this laundry and hall bathroom remodel in Chapel Hill. Read on to learn how we provided this home’s laundry room and hall bath with a fresh new look.

The new hall bathroom now includes new white shaker-style cabinets in the vanity. We removed the tub and enlarged the shower to make a walk-in with a frameless glass enclosure. The bathroom features chrome fixtures throughout. For tile choices, we went with a wood-looking tile on the bathroom floor, a 12”x24” rectangular marble-looking porcelain for the shower walls, and 2”x2” grey squares on the shower floor. We added a herringbone mosaic tile for an accent in the back of the shower niche. The shower now has two knobs (one to control the on/off and one to adjust the temperature) and two shower heads: one traditional and one on a bar that slides up and down and even allows you to remove it.

The old laundry room was lacking in storage. In fact, it originally did not have upper cabinets. The remodeled laundry room now includes semi-custom cabinetry, which added space for storing detergent and other supplies. We added in the wood-looking tile floor and repainted the room. We also added a new sink base and under-mount utility sink, with a new faucet and quartz countertops. All combined, this is now a comfortable and stylish place to do the laundry.
