Three-Bathroom Project in Mebane

In our latest bathroom remodels in Mebane, NC, the homeowners had an eye for design! With selective taste, their choices helped to create unique bathrooms that will stand the test of time. Read on to learn how we remodeled all three bathrooms in this beautiful home!

In the master bathroom, we took out the old shower and transformed the wall on the left into a knee wall to allow more natural light to come into their previously dark shower. We installed two niches (his and hers) and a handle on the knee wall so you can turn the shower on without getting wet. The new shower includes dual shower heads (both the main rain showerhead and a handheld), frameless glass, and grey subway tile with a marble-like tile on the floor and in the niches.

We removed the garden tub and installed a gorgeous freestanding tub complete with a floor-mount tub filler. We also installed a new vanity and toilet, all new lights, mirrors, and brushed nickel fixtures, and last but not least, wainscoting all around the bathroom.

In the hall bath, the homeowners chose a beveled subway tile for the shower with a hexagon-shaped marble-like tile for the floor. Like the master bathroom, this shower now has dual shower heads with a handle on the opposite wall. A single pane of glass replaced the traditional hinged glass enclosure. We completed this space with a new vanity, new mirrors, lighting, and rectangular matte-finish porcelain tile floors.

The homeowners loved the beveled subway tile so much, they decided to use it in their third shower as well. In this shower, the blue and grey penny tile made for a bold choice for the floor and niches. We love the sharp contrast of rich blues and bright white!
