We were excited to take on two Chapel Hill bathroom renovations for some amazing clients. We replaced everything in both the master and the hall bathrooms, except for the vanities which were painted to give a fresh look. The homeowners were so pleased with the work we did, that they plan to hire us to do another bathroom when their son goes back to college. We love repeat customers!
In the master bathroom, we removed the old garden tub and upgraded to a beautiful free-standing tub with a floor mount tub filler and handheld sprayer. The homeowners chose a stunning subway tile with a marble finish in varying sizes for the shower, walls, and floor. We installed a hexagon-shaped tile to provide contrast on the shower floor and in the niche. The shower now utilizes a frameless glass enclosure with a combination trim kit including a rain head shower head and handheld sprayer on an adjustable bar.
Several custom features of the new design, including a specialty toilet, modern sinks, and backlit mirrors, enhance the overall look and feel of the bathroom. The new toilet for the master bath, a Toto toilet from Japan, is all one piece reducing the propensity for it to leak. The new square-shaped under-mount sinks give a modern touch with chrome finishes. The vanity boasts LED backlit mirrors and three sconces between the mirrors, perfect for getting ready in the mornings.
In the hall bathroom, we swapped out the hardware on the newly painted vanity and installed grey hexagon-shaped tile on the shower floor to compliment the large grey rectangle tile on the floor. The grout we used for the tiles and in the niche picks up the accent colors from the floor tile. Lastly, we added a rectangular under-mount sink with a quartz countertop and replaced all the old fixtures.
